2012: the End of the World
November 4, 2009
Many people seem to believe that the year 2012 end of the world disaster is truly going to happen. Can it really happen though? What will really occur if this happens though? There are many theories that occur about this. The destruction of the earth by a celestial body is one of these theories. This could be a so-called black hole coming too near our solar system. Yet others believe that the so-called Planet X called Nibiru will make a retuen after a long orbital path around the sun. The theorists think that Planet X will be passing very close to the Earth at some stage and it will be this that causes the earth’s destruction.
One of the other theories is that of an asteroid hitting the earth. But scientists have stated that there are no known asteroids heading for earth in that time frame. There will be a “close” asteroid encounter, but this close is actually more than eighteen times the distance from the moon to our earth away. This may be considered close in astronomy terms, but not close enough to cause any concern.
Another theory is a massive solar flare causing a geomagnetic reversal event. The effect that this reversal will have is changing the polarity of the earth’s poles, therefore causing massive natural disasters.
There are a number of sites out there for the 2012 end of the world phenomenon, but one of them has a great number of resources. It is december2012endofworld.com. This site features reports on the truth about the various disasters that will strike earth, including a full 360 degree look at 2012. It does not matter if you have just found out about this topic, or whether you consider yourself an expert, this site will give a fascinating insight.
