Find the ideal Colorado vacation and rest for some solitude

January 26, 2010

Planning the ideal vacation escape is challenging.  Practically, in today’s hectic paced lifestyle everyone is competing against all of the obligations and time commitments you face in your daily life.  Occasionally it is helpful to obtain a fresh perspective on destination opportunities that you might not have thought about before.  A Colorado vacation gives you a chance to experience something that you may not be able to find in your own backyard.

Whether you are seeking adventure or relaxation on your vacation getaway, you will love it more greatly if you take a little time to plan part of your trip in advance.  For the outdoor seeking vacationer, check out the weather forecasts of the area that you will be venturing into so that you can pack the appropriate clothing and attire to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.  There will be significant changes in temperature between days and nights.

Perhaps the ultimate state destination is Colorado, where you will find too much to see and experience.  Here are a sampling of the Colorado attractions you may desire to experience:

Idea #1: Notah Dineh Museum – Cortez, Colorado. Here you will see Antique cradleboards, beaded toys, ceremonial gloves, and moccasins, tomahawks, breastplates, pottery fetishes, woven baskets, kachinas from the 20’s and 30’s.  There are also antique Navajo rugs which showcase the Native American life of this honorable and respected tribe. When you see Navajo kachinas or Mexican kachinas, those are imitations of the real Hopi kachinas.

Idea #2:  Pioneer Days – Crawford, Colorado.  There are a lot of fun family activities and events through out the day, but on Saturday morning the Crawford Volunteer Fire Department serves up a breakfast for everyone.  A breakfast that the entire city turns out for and you don’t want to miss!

Of course there are many other attractions that you may desire to experience on your Alaska vacation.  You might only be here for a brief period of time, but you can enjoy and experience much of the wonderful culture, heritage, and fun that the state has to offer.  You certainly will never be ignored  – check out this Colorado tourism video – there is always something new to see and do.

Even in today’s economic climate, Colorado is an affordable vacation escape.  It is useful to take advantage of the many discount packages with the special deals that are available that enable you to get away from it all without breaking the bank.  So take a escape from the hectic pace that daily routine brings and discover a vacation getaway and discover a taste of what this fantastic|great} countryside has to offer!
